Mission Impossible: Turkey Eggs

Don't quite know how to calibrate those.

I've been reading along here, if you post a picture of the thermometers I might be able to tell you how to calibrate them. Some the gauge can be changed others you just need the numbers for the math.

I am having to learn about hygrometers myself.

Okay, that one seems to be one that you use a thermometer you trust and compare the two. Then add or subtract the difference to know how far off it may be.

Then of course, you add or subtract that difference when you are checking the temperature for your broader or incubator.

I know some of these say they can be adjusted but I haven't had much success with that.

I am leaning toward separate hygrometer and thermometer. For now I just use the cooking probe type, and calibrate it often.

For everyone still following this thread:
I have declared the eggs as "no good". 3 clears and 1 that developed but died. W is very clearly not alive.

I will doing the eggtopsy tomorrow and taking photos.

Sometime this week I will be getting the eggs from my friend. As of yet I do not know if I should/will make a separate thread about them.
