Update: All 6 chicken eggs are still kicking. Temperature apparently spiked last night to 105, but hasn't affected any of the developing eggs. It has since been stabilized.

Any idea what caused the temp to spike that much?

Not sure yet. I didn't do much of anything different to stabilize it and now it's holding steady at 100°F. I'm thinking it might be because of how I placed things. I moved the water dish under the light and now all is good.
