Misters or shallow bowl to keep cool?

@Quail-mama ... 113!!! They seem to really enjoy the fan/mister.. no panting at all... I have still been looking for the cooling stones and had not put the granite piece in after realizing it is very slick! Didn’t know if that would be an issue

I went to a local tile store the other day and they straight out gave me a dozen or so 6" travertine tiles when I told them I was looking for damaged or marked down tiles for my chinchillas.

Do you have an angle grinder by chance? A masonry or stone grinding disc on a grinder should rough it up a bit. The disc should only cost a few dollars, but you need the angle grinder to use it. The do sell grinding attachments for a drill also. They slip into like a drill bit but with a disc on the end.
