Mite infestation in coop?

I'm not @Texas Kiki but yes, let it dry. I spray weekly for awhile because the spray does not kill any pest eggs so the coop will need to be treated weekly while the pest eggs hatch. Wild birds can introduce lice and mites.

When I do it once a week do I need to remove bedding again?

@cmom is it okay if my girls explore in the coop as it’s drying? They need to start laying too, and there is no bedding yet

It won't hurt them. I have sprayed my birds but now just use the permethrin dust on them.

Can I just apply the dust on them then start rubbing it under the wings and vent?

I don't. The spray will get into it somewhat. I actually give mine a spray.

I’m seeing mites everywhere trying to escape

@Texas Kiki I sprayed it all down with permethrin 10/water about 1 gallon of it inside and out.
It’s very saturated in there.
Assuming I should wait for it to dry out a bit?
When I need to apply again in 7 days do I need to remove all bedding again and do it all over?

Perfect.
I would replace the bedding again next week too.
As soon as the spray settles it's fine for them to go back in.

Go ahead and put the dust down too... It won't hurt.

Ok I did that thank you. I’m finding piles of mites dropping into the corners. I’m hoping they are dead
