Mites :/ how to treat

So i think my chickens have mites. I have a hen that has no feathers on her head anymore and my frizzle is loosing feathers on her side I don't think its from my Rooster. I have straw for bedding because I live on a farm and its free. Iv heard people say that's not good bedding. I'm gonna look them over after its done storming to see if i can see anything. What is a good way to treat them If they have them?

I would put wood ash in there dirt bath for the coop here is an amazing solution
2 cups water
1/2 cup cooking oil
2 tablespoons of dish soap
it is natural, and I let it do its job for less that 5 minutes. I come back and there are piles of dead mites!

What kind of dish soap?

I am sure any will work! use generic brand so its cheaper!

no its best if you use wood ash

no, all you do is spray the solution in the coop and put the ash in the dirt bath!
