Mites?? Lice?? What is this!

I noticed this on my hen. What is this??

It's a little hard to see but looks like lice to me. Can you see any clumps of white eggs on the base of the feathers, especially near the vent or head/neck areas? Any other bugs in those areas?

x2 Lice. Permethrin will take care of them. Treat inside the coop also.

Does it move fast? It is shaped and colored like a louse. There would probably be more under the lower belly if you part the feathers. Lice eggs would normally be found at the base of feathers. They are bes t treated with permethrin dust or spray on the skin every 10 days at least twice.

It was lice. I got to the store and bought pet-safe lice shampoo and powder. Im gonna treat my hens and the coop.
Never had a problem with lice, i wonder where it came from!!
