Mites or lice? Where to get medical supplies?

Hi, I think my chickens have live/mites. They have little bugs that look like specs of dirt by the roots of the feathers.

I'm really worried and don't know what to do. I also don't know where I should go and get supplies (like a dust I read about)

I get a " kennel dip " ( Happy Jack Kennel Dip II ) for dogs and cats. Mix it up in a garden sprayer and soak them top bottom and everywhere ( it is really easy if you grab a flashlight and hit them with it while they are on the roost. )
but anything for mites will work. I get mine from the feed and seed store.

If you have wood ashes around you can also dust them well with that. You might have to do it twice but wood ashes work well. I try to keep ashes out there for mine to dust bathe in and as long as I do, they don't have mites.
