I don't know what chiggers look like! But probably -- they are very tiny. For some lice/mites you'll only see them at night or you'll only see tiny egg clusters at the base of the feather shaft. Chances are if you see something l]that looks like chiggers, they have mites or lice, they're pretty common and carried by wild birds that can drop them flying over. Time to get out the Sevin, or your treatment of choice.
