Mites?

My boyfriend complained the other day and thought the chickens had fleas because he got bit over there. I havent noticed that but when I moved momma and her babies yesterday I notices teeny tiny what I tought were spiders on my arms. Didnt think anything of it till I noticed the spots on my shirt were moving, where I was carrying the hen. They are tiny, like the size of a dot from an ink pen. Are these mites? I do have Sevin dust, is that what I use to treat them? I think thats what I read on here. On the hens and the bedding?

yes seven dust should work. Do it quick. Mites can me Deadly to chicks ! Make sure to work it in, if there is any consumed it is toxic to the chickens. I use a paintbrush....
