mites

oh oh! I think the chickens have mites.I haven't seen any in the coop or on them . This morning I went to feed them and on the ground outside the coop I saw little black bug on the ground out side the pen and inside the pen .what should I do is this the time of the year I would see them?

I'm back!!!!!!!!! didn't see any mites on them or the roosts. the girls where complaining that I woke them up .but didn't see any bugs.
