Hey everyone,
Got our order from Hoover's today. We were supposed to be getting prairie bluebell eggers, but got chicks that looks more like a male bielefelder, but with feathered feet. The comb does look more like that hybrid pea/single comb atm. Does anyone know if prairie bluebell eggers have feathered feet all of a sudden? 😅 Doesn't seem like hoovers to mess up. They do not look small enough to be bantams or big enough to be brahmas, so I am confused at what they could be, since those are the only feather footed ones that the color matched.

Thanks!

You never know with the hybrids, but I think it is safe to say the feathered feet mean at the least they aren't what you ordered.

I think they are Cochins if they aren't brahmas.

Probably put your shipping label on the wrong box.

Yeah, the weirdest part is that the rest of them look 100% correct, even the number of the incorrect ones is right. Must have just been grabbed from the wrong bin.

I both emailed and called Hoovers. They only have an answering machine if you call. I really hope they get back to me before the weekend. People are supposed to come get some of them tomorrow.

Thank you so much everyone. I am still having a hard time getting through to Hoovers, they must be so busy, but I will let you know what they say when I hear from them.
❤️

They just emailed saying they can send more or refund us. I asked them if they could guess which ones got sent. I looked at their chick ID page for so long, but none of them seemed to fit 100%. I'll see if they have a guess.

Yeah, always been happy with Hoovers.

Thanks again!
