Mixed Breed (Mutt) Chickens!

I currently have seventeen more mutts... I'll get more pictures tomorrow. ;)
 

You would be right! I love my stinky little muttlings lol

My two favorites (that are actually from my stock), I'll have to get a picture of in the morning. One is broody right now and the other is an 2 month old roo.

My other mutts are hatchery quality - production red, new Hampshire red, cinnamon queen and some amber stars. Plus an Australorp and a Buff Brahma. Tho now I can add an English Chocolate Orpington named Godiva and what I was told was a Wyandotte named Victoria to the list of full breeds!
 
I've had a lot of pretty mix'es. I've had a strain of silkie-genes going for years, which have produced some wonderful birds.
This guy was called Oliver. A feisty little bantam roo. Unfortunately he was taken by a badger last year.

His mom was a Bantam Cohin. Oliver was her only offspring, she died of old age at 8yo.

And the father was a mix between an Australorp male and a silkie-mix female. He was incredible beautiful, but mean, so I couldn't keep him.
