Mixed Breeds...

Hello Everybody,

I have already bred a Delaware/Dorking rooster with a New Hampshire hen,
(That's as far as I got with mixing!)

The Delaware Dorking rooster has the colors of a Delaware and five toes like a Dorking.
I was surprised but the hen that hatched when I bred them looks like a reddish Delaware with five toes! (I'll have to post a pic soon!)
And I know that the Delawares are related to New Hampshire's.

I was wondering if anybody has tried breeding a Blue Cochin with a Delaware..
I tried researching but they aren't exactly "Blue/Delaware looking"

I want to try breeding these:
Delaware/Blue Cochin
Delaware/Speckled Sussex
Delaware/Salmon Faverolle
Delaware/Buff Brahma
Doubtfully but maybe a Delaware/Partridge Plymouth Rock. (I'm not sure if My PPR hen is laying anymore.)

Any idea if these breeding ideas are a good idea? And if they are post a pic please

I think ifyoubreed the Dela with the BC, You might get a feather legged Delaware?Maybe?

That could work.

I think your idea of the Silver Australorp would be nice,
I have one black Australorp hen that hatched the DEL/DORK/NH.

Yeah, I think that would be a pretty close guess!

My mom promised me 12 hens and a rooster next year, so I will order a BA hen and a BR Roo!
