Mixed breeds

My Silkie is currently sitting on 6 eggs from either a Speckled Sussex, or Frizzled Cochin dad. Monday is hatch day! pictures will be put up!

lol my avatar. I think he is cochin/sebright. But thats only a guess.

haha Actually he hasnt proven to be very fertile. But it could be that he is trying to cover too many largefowl hens. But a red tail has helped his fertility increase

heres some pics of the babies the 2 lavender/porcelain babies have different legs colors as well but have some really nice leg/foot feathers, the 2 silkie/d'uccles also have different leg coloring and one has a crest and one doesnt, all 4 have nice beards

I have a very frisky little Modern Game Rooster in with my Silkies right now. I haven't made a separate pen for him and his girl. The silkies haven't started laying yet, but are getting really close. I wonder what that mix would look like

Maybe when they start laying I should hatch a few to see, LOL.
