8.cossed- If I had to this would be the guy I'd sell off based on looks and size.

Here is my EE roo Stanley who has some of the same markings as Mr. Greenjeans. Also a big gentlemen. Love this boy.

The bird you were wondering about with the stubs that looked like partial polydactyl - those are spurs. They are just coming in :)

Aoxa... I recognize the spurs... the stubs are just a bump at the base of the one toe, as if there was going to be another toe there like the silkie has and the one other hen. It just looks like Napolean has some genes leaning that way but it didn't happen.... though it could just be an oddity that he has. It is on both feet, just a bump though.
His spurs just starting in is why I aged him under a year even without the lady we got him from knowing when he was hatched. Although I understand some roosters don't develop them as big as others, his look like they are just really starting to develop.

and your Stanley is a gorgeous guy!!

Napoleon IS an Easter Egger. I HAVE HIS TWIN! Big, thick, tall, shiny feathers especially in the green that shimmers off the black. My Cletus and his brother Clyde came from the same mother, except Clyde has white where Cletus has black....... weird, but stunningly beautiful!
Mine seems to have a problem with any other rooster, regardless of age. Before I sexed my chicks he took out 3 baby roos.....so watch him. May just be the attitude problem mine alone has. But he is very possessive over his girls that's for sure. Goes after any stray/visiting animal near my yard; but is very quaint to humans. Not happy about being touched but will eat anything i put infront of him even from my hand.

Here are some guesses...

1 - Barred Rock/Dark Brahma mix
2 - Gorgeous Easter Egger

Yes that's what I was trying to think of for number 1 defiantly has Brahma in him, but no feathery feet. But there may be some Wyandotte in there as well.

My bad...i was wrong to speak too soon. Number 8 looks like a Faverolles. I had one and the man who sold him to me at 2 days old told me it was an EE. Maybe another breed grandparent but look mostly Faverolles. I would hang on to him...read about them...seems like a good large breed to mix with a good meat hen to make larger meat/layers dual purpose chickens for your self. Idea anyway.
