Mixing Breeds in the Flock

Hi, i have a few different breeds. Buff Orpington ,Barred Rock, Laced Wyandotte and 2 Cream legbar. They get along good but the Legbars are a little skittish and keep to themselves a little more than expected. They were all raised from 3/4 weeks old. The Orpington hen became the more Motherly one in the coop, and was always the most welcoming to being touched and pet by me, she is very sweet. Im in NJ and they are suited to my area weather. The first three above are all my favorites, i hand feed them veggies from the garden and they love it. The barred rock recently started to fly off her perch and sit on my shoulder. The Legbar are interesting and will have a blue egg but may not be a good situation for children, there on the mean side.

We have six different breeds together, plus three dogs and 10K bees. No problems! :)

I have a barred rock that will lightly peck your leg until you pick her up and love on her we have talks daily she thinks I'm her mom and he fallows me around and I named her baby

Here's my Dingbat. She runs up to me and makes all kinds of noise until I pick her up. It is hard to do chores with having to hold her but she is insistent! I didn't "make" her a pet, she just became one and I love the dingy!
