Mixing breeds

I’m new here and not sure if this is the best place to ask....i have a mix of brown egg laying hens. This is the first year I have a rooster. I believe he is a Cochin. I want to add some Easter Eggers and Marans to my flock but not sure if the rooster will muddy their egg colour. Doing some reading I believe their blue colour will stay but any chicks that hatch will be Olive Eggers. Have I got that right? Should I keep them in a separate cage to keep the egg colour true?

Egg color of mom is not affected by being bred, but daughters will get one gene from mom and one from dad

Cochin x Easter egger will give you blue-green, green, and/or light brown eggs. Cochin x marans will basically give you eggs that are in between the color of the parent breeds.
