Mixing Chicken Breeds?

Does anyone have a picture of a white polish chicken mixed with a production red, or some kind of polish mixed with some kind of breed without the extra head feathers?

What color eggs will a mixed bird produce? For example if you have a Polish Roo with a americana hen what color egg will their offspring produce? Will the egg from that offspring take after the male or the female? Or be a lighter version of one or the other?
