Mixing feed

I was wondering if I can mix dog food with chicken feed to make it last long also have extra dog food laying around is why I ask

Dog food is made for dogs...not chickens.

If it's just this one time, and you need to get rid of some left over dog food, it's probably okay. The ingredients might end up in your eggs, so if you don't mind that, then go for it? Personally I've gotten curious and eaten kibble before and I'm still alive! Some people feed their chickens cat food during a molt to help up the protein. I always give my cat's left over canned food to my chickens.
I wouldn't do it on a regular basis though.

I give mine a little tiny bit of dog food if I have some powdery remnants left in the bottom of the bin, but I wouldn't feed them much more than that.
