I love games at Christmas! It's very dorky, but we play charades and I could not get anyone to guess "halifax" sounds like pal, I, fax... Me, miming a fax machine in the backyard, hahahawe also worked on a jigsaw puzzle and then went to see our aunty and uncle where all the children were for more gifting and a swim in the pool. The kids were brilliant! Utterly ecstatic and very good at sharing and gratitude. I had a long cuddle with the youngest, Elliot who's only two months old. He had a great time, watching the other kids, goggle-eyed.

O no! 3 at once! Poor Janet. Hugs for Janet!

Is Ivy just setting wherever⁉⁉⁉
she was there weeks ago, so she's got the best (softest) part of the nest. Peggy joined in on Christmas day, but she goes to bed early now she's broody, so she took the place next to Ivy. Mary went to bed late, so she had to sit almost on top of Peggy, which Peggy looooves. She is so deep in her trance under Mary's tail. Not where I'd choose to lay my head, I assure you. It's very poopy under there right now.

I'm sure they think this stuff up to keep us amused!
I'm sure they think this stuff up to keep us amused!Your mum is a consummate tactician. Obtain agreement, then bam! Does she ever play up to the "eccentric old lady" persona for tactical advantage?Last Christmas we played a card game that my son got, called ‘Man bites dog’. The aim of the game is who can gain the most points making funny headlines. My mum has developed a ruthless streak over the years playing games; she laid down four cards and asked if it made sense? It was only when we all agreed that it did, did she then produce the ‘double points’ card she had been holding!
