MJ's little flock

Which is the thread where we post our breakfast? I’ve never done that before… I don’t eat a good breakfast very often. But I am today!

Scrambled eggs topped with vegan cream cheese and fresh sprouts, with thin toast topped with vegan buttery spread. Coffee with coconut/oat creamer. 😊

Well, my dad didn’t get back to me on which recipe, so I took the one with the latest date. I don’t have the ability to print to PDF on a personal device and I’m too cheap to pay $10 a month for the service I’ll never (rarely) use. So here’s a screenshot. I hope it reads OK. Apparently they are crumpets, not a hybrid. But I remember him talking about them being like halfway between a crumpet snd an english muffin.

Yum!

Eggs were from Dorothy, Ester and Minnie. My only consistent layers at the moment. :)

Yes - summer only - switch to the heated one in winter.
I will provide supplemental watering locations in the winter where if they are free ranging I bring out water from the house occasionally. So I still use the non heated ones in the winter.
