MJ's little flock

I believe milk in coffee is the norm in Australia, although I can't say for sure.

Strong white tea brings my maternal grandfather and paternal grandmother to mind. They were the tea makers in their families and they each got me started on my lifelong tea habit. Pop with tea bags, Nana with loose leaves.

Hi ladies. :frow New run looks great.
Janet had some trouble finding the nest. I tried to show her the nest box in the little coop and it seemed as though she accepted my suggestion, but ten minutes later she was running the perimeter again and crying. Eventually she returned to the little coop and laid her egg.

I'm hoping for less drama tomorrow.

On the other hand, she's loving the sand under the tables for dust bathing, so that's good.

Peggy and Ivy had no trouble using the nest in the little coop. And Mary has been in there sitting on everyone else's eggs and giving me dirty looks.

Seems like all in all they are adapting well. Janet will come to accept the new nesting location. It just takes time.
