I was so happy when Maleficent's tail came in. She seemed stubby without it.

This is not to say I don't love your Australian Astrolorps. Mary looks so exotic to me. I just prefer a tail.

I don't have a preference either way. I find pretty much every chicken appealing. Sometimes the very lean bantam breeds strike me as not very chickeny, but I still like the way they look.

Anyway here are Ivy and Mary in the west wing. Mary is working on an apple core.

I think Ivy is having a moult too. That's a wing feather by her foot. It had only just dropped out.
