It's sort of about a little boy in the Hitler Youth who has Adolf as an imaginary friend who discovers his mother is hiding a Jewish girl...not everyone's cup of tea I imagine.

Most of my kiddies were the very practical sorts. Not YD as it happens & she & I did in Od's head @ the dinner table one night discussing imaginary friends. YD had a unicorn as an imaginary friend. They fell out one day so she snapped off his horn & stabbed him in the heart. She had anger management issues as a kiddo. I thought it was hysterical but OD was horrified by the whole thing! I still find it hysterical. OD is still horrified but the child is perfectly sane & not given to psychopathic tendencies.

I'm no expert but from the very few things I've read, Imaginary friends and emotional immaturity are both quite normal, aren't they?

Yep. So far as I know. OD is my B&W thinker. No shades of grey for her. It drives me crazy!

From the clips I've seen it is a little Black, a little Theatre of the Absurd, a little coming of age & it looks very well directed with quite beautiful scenery. I will forgive a film a lot if it looks good.

Mary's molting again

There are black feathers scattered all about. She had a very thorough molt in autumn.

Do hens molt if they're too hot? I thought autumn was the right time?

Do I need to worry?

She shouldn't be molting... Is she broody? Going broody? Feather picking ~ which may be broody related...?

I'm pretty sure she's broody-ish. I mean she's broody without sitting.

Re: Star Wars, I hated all the previous ones. The recent one out now, I actually liked. My adult son said it was stupid and brought up things from other ST movies that were out of sync. Maybe that's why I liked the new one.
