If Mary goes to the beach, it will be in a cat carry box. She's not tame enough to be allowed out of it and in any case, there are always lots of dogs on the beach. But she might like to look at the water on her way home from her next checkup.

Isn't that more of a mud bath? How can you dust bathe in the rain?

The rain moistened the first cm or so, underneath it's still dusty dry and she kept digging down to dryer dust as she went.

She's out now. I'm pretty sure she was singing the pina colada song on repeat through the whole dustbathing extravanganza

That makes sense. It continues to rain here and everything is soggy. Dust bathing here is confined to under their coop for that reason.
