In the meantime if that guy's going to be hanging around our houses for hours at a time, I wish he'd make himself useful and pull a few weeds from my front yard. Then I'd *give* him some money.

Maybe you you could put a notice up in the front yard: “To the guy who attempted to break into my house; if you weed the front garden for me I’ll give you some money!”

I've been trying to laugh it off but I was a bit rattled by it at the time.

Oh definitely, I put a lot of faith in my dog alerting us to any such thing (and maybe being a deterrent because of his barking). I hope I never have to put him to the test though. I’m so glad you’re ok!!!

I've got my eye on Lagottos. They're knee-high, soft-mouthed woolly cuties who like to swim!

Under their coop they have more space, intact too much because I cant and reach them
