Here we see the intrepid Gallus gallus domesticus, more commonly known as "the chicken", this one a hen, making its weekly exploration of the homo sapiens habitat.

Now, it cleverly camouflages itself among the forest of furnishings, avoiding detection while pursuing the ultimate goal of dietary supplementation through crumb identification.

Here, in a bold stand off with our camera operator, it displays its bright red face, dark hood, and handsomely marbled feathering over pale grey legs. Look at those defensive claws!

Finally, quick as a flash it scurries off in a bid for freedom from observation... And disappears into the mid afternoon stillness.

Wow! They've changed the rules for chicken coop approvals! I can make it much larger under the current rules.

"Shed" includes chicken coop and I can tick every item on that list and make the roof 9m2.
