This morning it was bulging out like that before she'd eaten anything.Check it first thing in the morning. It should be empty. Dr Mark will want to know that info.
Oh dear. That means she has a blockage. This morning it was bulging out like that before she'd eaten anything.
Oh no! I'm praying for her.I just went and tucked the girls in and I noticed Nyssa’s wheezing again. Quite badly too, she was having to open her beak to take some breaths. I’ll see if I can find an avian vet tomorrow.
This morning 9.30. She's already in the basket.Oh dear. That means she has a blockage.
When is her appointment? Until then it is worth trying massage (be careful so it doesn’t come up and aspirate her).
Also, if you don’t have any already, get your hands on a jar of coconut oil.
Oh no. I'm sorry Loz. I hope it's not serious.I just went and tucked the girls in and I noticed Nyssa’s wheezing again. Quite badly too, she was having to open her beak to take some breaths. I’ll see if I can find an avian vet tomorrow.
Thanks MJ, I’m hoping some stronger antibiotics will do the trick. Then I’ll have to start the probiotics in earnest again.Oh no. I'm sorry Loz. I hope it's not serious.
Good luck Mary! Dr Mark will look after you. This morning 9.30. She's already in the basket.
I'll feel her crop in case it's cleared overnight but i won't attempt a massage when her appointment is only 2.5 hours off.
