You have caught me. I was doing what I have railed about for years.

For a long time I fought with everyone here who said that leghorns were flighty unfriendly birds. I would post stores and pictures of Elphie and Daisy, greatest hen ever, on every thread that falsely described them. It's just not so. Every bird is unique.

Then last night I slandered Wyandottes by repeating what I have heard. Shame on me.

My apologies to Wyandottes everywhere.

Thank you for the reminder.

Every chicken is an individual with an individual personality that reacts to the environment in which they live, sometimes positively and sometimes negatively.

Except for those Rhode Island Reds, they are all bossy and mean! 😉

.........

Oy! Deana is a RIR! How dare you Bob! 🤪

Me too. :) One can only own so many chickens. One experiences the rest vicariously through one's friends. I am glad MJ looks like choosing chickens I have no experience with. So much more interesting!
Me too! Me too!

I can't get any more chickens for the time being.

My husband was having bad dreams about finding dog crates full of animals, including a tiger, in the back yard. I think he fears that I've been bitten by the chicken collecting bug. He knows me too well...😝

One of each? Good idea! :D They are gorgeous!
The gold one in the top picture and the blue one with a black face.

They're frizzles who didn't frizzle.

Not sure of the breeds because I forgot already.

They've both got crests and they're both wearing feather trousers.

Aren't they endearing! :love

It's a Tuesday pick up because the fodder store is closed tomorrow :D
