MJ's little flock

Good morning @rjohns39 and @Grammy60 :frow

She seems quite good this morning, although not as perky as yesterday afternoon after her meal worms. At present she's with her friends but I may put her into the big coop by herself again. There was some poop under her roosting spot this morning, so that's an improvement from yesterday. I'm going to give her scrambled egg and salmon treat this morning, which will give me a chance to see exactly how much she eats.

I'm so relieved, I slept like a log.

Here's a photo from five minutes ago. She's eating her breakfast of seventeen - or at least pretending to eat it.

Good morning MJ I'm so glad she's doing better.

I didn't realise how tense I was until I relaxed. So glad the worst is over. Between stints at the desk, I'll be watching her carefully today.

I'm very grateful to you and all my other chicken friends for taking an interest in her.

That's normal summer dryness here @Ribh , nothing special. We're on sand you see, so there's no moisture retention without corrective action. Apart from adding the chickens to the back patch, I haven't yet tried to improve or water it, I've left it be.

But I must set the timer for the meadow patch. It's too dry at present.
