MJ's little flock

Personally I await each weigh in so please don’t stop unless it is distressing you.
Does Dr Mark have any theories on what is wrong with her?
Only the advice I've already posted. The bacterial infection harmed her digestive system, but she'll be OK with crop feeding. I've asked how long it will take and the answer is that it depends on Lorna.

Here's her evening weigh-in. Another sad data point. She had 6ml of quite thick liquid food.

I may go back to thinner food tomorrow.

If we get to 2 weeks without an improvement, I'll take her back for another appointment and show Mark the data.

If she can't recuperate, she may have to be euthanised. I'm just putting that concept here for everyone to see, so there are no sudden shocks later.
:hugs :hugs:hugsI want to hope for the best.

I wonder if that’s what happened to Lottie; bacteria damaging her digestive system.

Although I've been making her life miserable lately, she forgives me and keeps me company.

My girls have grown very close to me when they are sick. Things are different afterwards. It changes your relationship. I swear Gucci was always excited to see me regardless of what would then happen.

Lorna was 912g at breakfast, and I fed her 10ml. I thought I'd injured her somehow because she laid down in her basket afterwards and sort of collapsed with her eyes shut. She woke up again when I put her on her feet in the sleepout. My heart was in my mouth the whole time. The sooner I no longer need to feed her, the better.

To that end, in a couple of hours, I'm going to make a nice mash and hope she eats some of it.
