MJ's little flock

Have you ruled out the possibility it was water from somewhere?
No external water.

I don’t think the occasional liquid poo is anything to worry about. But monitor.
Is it hot causing her to drink a lot?
It was warmer yesterday and today, so yes there could have been more drinking. I’m still putting probiotics in the water and today put an ice brick in there as well.

There looks like a few drops of blood on the towel as well, but I think there was some fierce pecking going on the other night.
Sorry if you already said, but did you get the poo examined for coccidiae and worm eggs? Most vets should be able to do it for you even if they won't see chickens and it shouldn't be very expensive.

I might stop sharing Lorna's recovery updates. Surely everyone is getting tired of the ups and downs.

First thing this morning, she was very light, lighter still late morning. Last night's PB must've been all pellets. Once I had this idea I backtracked and saw most of her PBs were at roosting time (958, 942, 850).

So, I broke both our hearts and made her take 9ml of liquid food before she pushed the needle out.

I've made a mash (liquid food, milk thistle, pellets, kefir, water, chopped tomato) and set a reminder for me to give it to them at 2.30pm in case she's hungry by then (one hour before her next weighing).

Please keep us updated. The graphs are great. It's also interesting to read.
