I am always shocked by the size of her eggs I'll have a look for the photo comparing her egg to one of Elly's little ones.

It's small but not very small. It was deposited in the nest box of the funrun and the only hens who were in the run today were the four new ladies.

It's the wrong colour for Edie. Her's are quite white. It's not Joyce's.

That leaves Katie and Christa. I saw Christa go into the nest. But her eggs are usually not at all small or smooth shelled or dark speckled.

Is it Katie's first egg? Seems likely.

She's much quieter and she keeps herself out of harm's way.
