MJ's little flock

You've done well with your new additions. :hugs I've put out feelers to see if I can get more Campines...still waiting on a response. What is it with breeders?
I have found them almost impossible to deal with.

Hope you find the campines!

I'm pretty sure I can get more goldies. That breeder will eventually get back to me. I've dealt with her before but 2 others have ignored me completely or have outdated contact information. I was hoping for some silvers but will take Wyandottes or Aracunas if I can get them.

I wonder if they simply can't keep up with demand.

I'm not sure. Round here they seem to only want to know about whatever they have in stock @ the moment & aren't interested if you are after specific breeds. I've made no bones about enjoying eye candy chickens & have chosen breeds on looks as well a laying ability & supposed personality traits.

It's not hard to return calls and be polite.
well, I usually text if I can ~ or email~ so people can reply when it's convenient. I know running lots of chickens is time consuming but I'm trying to organise myself too & fit in as best I can with them.

The breeders I got Charlie and Bessie from are good, they respond in a timely fashion. I imagine my Frizzle breeder friend is communicative as well.
