MJ's little flock

I’ll see your chicken and raise you two chickens.

They don't, not at this point anyway. It wasn't that long ago that I couldn't tell them apart, and I don't name that many of my chickens. They could do with it now though, if anyone could help?
The one nearer the camera is a real sticky beak, and always trying to get treats from me, while the other one is very shy and tends to do her own thing.
What about bold “Betty” and shy “Sally”?

I love Betty!
I would like the name Sally too, but I had a goat called Sally that I lost from old age, and I don't feel quite ready to use that name again yet.
What about Bertha?
Betty and Bertha make a nice pair!
Perfect!

Betty and Bertha sound perfect! ❤️

I'm so glad Aurora has an other bestie! Glynda is a very sassy hen, so she's just the right person to keep Aurora from going too far with the violence.

Does Aurora delegate any pecking orders to Glynda?
I have not seen that yet. So far she is very respectful of Sydney and Hattie. She tolerates Phyllis but I don't how much longer that will last.

Someone has to, I guess. Might as well be Phyllis. Here there were a few attempts at crowing yesterday too, but I didn't see who it was.
So far I have caught, Aurora, Sydney, and Phyllis crowing. Only Aurora on film.
