Nothing beats a good chicken snuggle!!! Anna has chosen to take Stanley to school tomorrow. He'll be getting lots of snuggles in the car. I'll be sure to post lots of pictures.
I'm so excited to set these eggs and take Stanley in. I've been having some very rough days lately, so I need to do something else to take my mind off of things.
I'm very sorry to learn you've been suffering latelyat least there's the school hatchalong project to occupy your mind. I know it's not much, but better than nothing. All the best, friendo.
Look how happy she is! And look how dignified he is! In his old age he'll be telling the story, "Yes, that's right. I was chosen to ride in the car all the way to school. Then I taught the human children about crowing and how to be gentle with us. They said it was the best class ever, but I don't know about that."Thank you MJ! I'm trying to go easy on myself, but I get so frustrated that I can't do what I used to do.
On the plus side, Stanley did wonderful in school! I'll post some pictures soon. Everyone in the school knew he was coming, he had a greeting committee as soon as we walked in the door.
Stanley LOVED all of the attention. He let some 30 kids pet him at once. They hand fed him treats, and a few were even brave enough to pick him up. He was an absolute gentleman! He also crowed loud and proud many times!
This is a picture Anna's teacher took of her with Stanley. I just love her big smile!
