Ivy will be broody in a few months, so I'm thinking about what sort of eggs to give her for hatch attempt, take two. At present the shortlist is buff Orpington, pyle Brahma, salmon Faverolles, Welsummer/black copper Marans, Araucana/creme Legbar. (I'd prefer bitsas but they're surprisingly hard to come by.)

I'm trying to reduce the list the 3 breeds. Any thoughts?

Also, after a post on Shad's thread, I decided to no longer purchase Mars subsidiary cat foods for Blossom because of the way Mars is interfering with the veterinary profession. So she's trying out the seniors Black Hawk cat food product, which I have not been able to link with Mars. She eats it all up and spends a long time licking her paws after eating.
