What an extreme difference in just one day! I can’t recall such a weather change where I live.

It's extreme for Adelaide too. This time of year, we usually have the high 20s to low 30s. One very hot day followed immediately by very mild days is very unusual.

Maybe its the location? I live about 100 km away from the sea and we have no mountains. It influences our weather a lot.

I sure do! I'm starting to burn out a bit. I don't have the resilience I used to in my 20s and 30s.

Another short film that I did the music for this year has reached semi-finalist level in both the Rotterdam and Paris International Film Festivals. I'm hoping it will make it to finalist, because then that gives me another screen credit.

I'm loving creating it for all of us. I'm having to do it around my other projects though, so there will be a bit of a lull whilst I write the storyline and start coding (not to mention composing music for it!)

I'm lucky enough I can commute to work by bike (in my case, a recumbent tricycle), so there's some exercise there. I've dropped martial arts for the time being; it's not serving me at the moment. I'm still going for a row on the lake on a Sunday morning, and I may go back to yoga.

It's being screened at a local cinema on Tuesday, so how quickly can you get to Australia? I'll let you know if it goes online anywhere, the same with the one I'm doing sound design for. There is music but it's written by a different composer.
