MJ's little flock

Does it taste bad I wonder?
I’m thinking it does from their reluctance to “taste” it again, but this morning it looks like some of the feathers from around the edges of the sprayed area may have been chewed on.:barnie

I wonder if Alice is picking at her own feathers?

(The can says not to use on laying hens whose eggs are for human consumption. Of course Alice is the only one laying regularly at the moment :he)

Roosting shenanigans

I went to see a movie last night, so my neighbour kindly put the chooks away for me. When I got home, I went out to check on them.

Janet was on the newbies roost, right up top on level 4. The newbies were together on level 3. Mary and Sandy were on level 2, one at each end of the roost.

I won't interfere but I wish Janet had let the youngsters keep their high perch.

No, but they were very cute :love I'm staying strong til 2023 (unless another lonely and homeless chook needs a home).
I might need a home by then. If I grow some feathers any chance of a place in the coop?:p:lau
