Turned out I caught a virus, but not the virus. I'll rest as much as I can and hope for a quick recovery. At least I'm not so busy this week.

I’ve had what feels like a mild cold. Not even a sore throat! Didn’t stop my mum from freaking out!

I'm sure she'd enjoy that! Just as well it would be on Zoom or you might lose some of the chocolate to a curious chook!

As chocolate is bad for chooks like it is for cats and dogs, I’d say the choc is for MJ and the pork is for Alice. I’ve written “no chocolate!” on my chook scraps bin for work, but we all know that would never happen!

Not a chance. She is very skittish. I can touch her beak and if I'm quick I can bum shove her out of the way. Judging from her general reaction to the prospect of physical contact one might have though I had some awful contagious disease.

Oh I had not the smallest notion of sharing my chocolate (I never entertain such appalling thoughts), nor of sharing Alice's pork. Just the feelings and the time
