We have people in the community come set up tables with helpful information for our families and provide lots of food and fun activities for everyone for the day. We had over 60 tables set up and more wanted to come so next year we hope will be just as good or better

Sounds like a great way to strengthen the rrelationships!

What? Some people are just hopeless. That makes me a little cross.

This type of thing is always a possibility so next year I won't hatch after the temps start falling.

Me too, it's our time zones. And lately I haven't been out here much when it's your morning.

I'm a bit conflicted. I want to rush in and keep them all safe but then next time there will be another sale.

So I don't think I can participate in future. I'll go directly to the breeders instead.

I am heartbroken for you. I know how much you were looking forward to this. I mean geeze, I'm disappointed, you must be feeling much worse. Not at all what I expected to see when I woke up. I would have wanted to take them all as well.

The other ladies who were bidding for her were buying her as a pet, so I didn't compete against them.

That was very nice of you. I'm glad they found a good home.

You & me. Which is why my girls will live out their lives eggs or no eggs.

I think mine know that. Hence no eggs for weeks now.

Nope. Their personalities will just grow more & more. Can you imagine those Campines of mine in a year or two?!

They are going to be so much fun. I'm for one are looking forward to their stories and I am light years away from them.

It wasn't quite the chicken sale I was hoping for. It was a bit saddening. But I'm glad some of the buyers were there for pet chickens.
