MJ's little flock

That mug is adorable. I can see why it is your everyday mug.

I have been collecting coffee mugs for over 30 years. Nothing special just goofy ones that make me smile. My whole family tells me I have too many. I believe they may be right. My favourite ones are on the book shelves in my library.
She does some nice stuff. She's gone a bit commercial now but the pottery I still like.

Not really a collection any more. I used to have three tea sets and a number of coffee mugs.
I do have an every day mug given to me by my daughter.

I haven't always been an impoverished bucket boy and in past times I've tended to buy unusual well made things and keep them for years rather than the latest must have.
I gave away or sold a lot of stuff before I came out to Catalonia.
I also prefer well-made things that last. It feels more ethical than buying things that get thrown away sooner. That said, I treated myself to a robovac recently and it's been great. Unfortunately the ones that don't collect data - and that's not negotiable for me - are at the bottom of the market and it's starting to wear out already.

I've got a broom.:p:lau
I could do with a vacuum cleaner.

Oh yes! Please do!
I love admiring tea pots etc. I was admiring this morning's one until you said it had a dribbly spout and then I just couldn't any more. 😔😉
It really takes the shine off the whole tea session. I used to have a small stainless steel pot with a sharp spout but as I was packing to move here, I dropped it and broke its handle. The pretty one is its replacement. It was a freebie because the union gave me (and everyone else) a gift voucher that year, so I feel a bit churlish complaining about its spout.

I like her designs! Simple, homely and beautiful.
