Is ot a Rosella?

As MJ says it's a Crimson Rosella & lays a white egg.

Ribh beat me to it again!

Yep, it’s a Crimson Rosella. I also get the native, pointy headed pigeons, Sulphur Crested Cockatoos, magpies and Currawongs visiting in there and looking for what the girls missed.

I'm visited by pointy pigeons (one small family) and the spotted neck introduced pigeon (at least a whole pigeon city). Magpies and piping shrikes. Crows. Sparrows. Wattle birds. A boobook (my very favourite). And those rotten Mynahs.

Well, I can't say I've seen a Cassowary round here but we are visited pretty much by everything else.

They're an invasive species and widely disliked because they do so much harm to the native species.
