it is lovely to see the stars and I clearly remember laying in the grass as a child counting them and trying to figure out the constellations.

Yes it does get annoying after a day or two. I have power back now. I am so glad I got a generator for the well pump because far worse than being without power is to be without water which I was for 2 weeks once and I vowed never again!
