It looks fairly easy by egg colour and size to tell who laid which.

Yes, no problem working that out! Which is a good thing for a beginner like me because I can keep track of laying and it helps me in thinking about their health and phase of life.

Tack. She's having a strange moult. Big bare patches around the front of her neck when as you can see her tail feathers look fabulous.

I rather like this little hen. She's almost a lemony colour.

That is a spectacular tail! I think she is a pretty hen.
