I'm sure she will. Just like us when we're feeling off. Everything is so much more of an effort.

That's good news... Still rooting for her.Good morning rjohns39
Sandy was very active first thing this morning, so that's good news. She wanted to be let out of the little coop. I've seen her play with the medicated water a couple of times, then she took a sip on her third go. The other two have been guzzling it.
For now, to escape Janet's bullying, Sandy is in the big coop with her own food and water while the other two are out in the yard. I think Sandy will need to rest much more than the others so keeping her apart will give her a chance to do that without being picked on.
So glad she made it through the night![]()
Well, it's a bit dodgy with boats & things ~ so much more stressful for any animal & any time I've really needed a vet it's been @ night. And I usually need a 2nd pair of hands: one driver, one navigator & that is harder without my girls though if YD isn't working she would always come & collect me.Oh, I don't know. You're very attentive to your hens and you'd notice if something went wrong. There would be a few bird specialist vets in Brissy, surely. It's a bit of a stressful panic having to rush a chook to the vet, but that's ok. We're tough enough really![]()
