MJ's little flock

In Adelaide it's 13c at present, 23c expected. There's some cloud and a little humidity. Only 5% chance of rain though. Light winds this afternoon.

Perfect weather for anything really, I'll be catching up on work in the back room where I can see the hens. BY Bob 's recent hawk scare has made me a little jittery. My ears will be open all day and if the wildbirds go quiet I'll race out and check for a hawk.

Worming follow up

Both Janet & Mary have loose poops today. I'm fairly sure I'm seeing worms, but nothing like what I saw when I wormed them a year ago when Janet's poops had big wrigglers. The ones I saw yesterday were quite narrow and short. But I'll keep watch through today and maybe I'll spot some bigger ones. I don't really know what round worms look like - I'll search for a photo. Mary's face is still more pink than red.
