Funny though isn't it when one compares what the English sent to Australia and what got off the boat at Plymouth Rock USA from England and the eventual outcome.

No. But that isn't saying much ~ & that's if I have understood you to mean self evolving. Lots of the really big properties are pretty much self sufficient & goodness knows what has evolved on some of those! I know pigs & camels have been doing their thing in some pretty inhospital terrain for decades. That gives rise to some pretty interesting speculation though. If you actually ever hear anything I would be curious to know.

On the other hand...This has stats of European breeds that are @ critical numbers in Australia ~ some of which I think are Landrace. I took part in the 2nd survey because I had a number of these breeds.

My supplier raises a number of these.

Is there anything you are specifically wanting to know because some of the bigger poultry clubs are sure to know?

ETA: Are you including Autralorps in this or looking for more recent adaptions?

Ooh, more chickie piccies! Now I can see why my friend said that Croad Langshans are like mini-ostriches; the rooster can stand at nearly a metre tall! A white CL hen would be nice, I don’t think there are any breeders in NSW though.
