MJ's little flock

Mj, how do they feel about the rain? Mine peer out at it and then decide to stay inside for the most part. There's always one or two that will venture out but not for long.
The hens take cover and peer out too, but the youngsters haven't worked that out yet so they keep doing all their usual things!
 
I love that age. She is very pretty. I wonder how big she will be?
I think she's going to be a big, heavy hen.

One of the challenges of raising endangered breeds is lack of variety... my birds and egg basket compared to those of you are just plain boring.
With no breeding plan, I've got more scope to follow my whims when meeting new pullets.
