Yeh, that's very easy. I feel for British bird fanciers now they've had Brexit. Hopefully things won't get too much harder for them at the border.
For Aussies, pretty much forget importing live birds. If someone really wanted to, they'd be better off importing fertile eggs. Even then, there'd be loads of restrictions.
I looked up our govt's rules for importing fertile eggs of fancy chicken breeds and took screen captures.
So. Much. More. Costly than between EU countries.
But biosecurity really matters and most of understand.

Perhaps frozen sperm would be easier to import?
I wonder how one would artificially inseminate a hen? ....Without her "ejecting" the semen. Wouldn't that be a pain after going through all that effort!
